Performance Luxury - this jacket lives in the space between essential high alpine gear and next-gen elevated design. Every element of the Bering Down’s development, performance and materials was carefully considered and assembled with an eye to creating the ultimate jacket for extreme weather conditions.

Bering Down jacket is sized to be worn over a second layer and is guaranteed to provide serious warmth and insulation in cold, remote locations.

Fit - men's model is 5'8" and athletic, wearing a size medium > usually true to size, but if you're on the smaller end of the size spectrum, and know you like your gear more fitted, you'd likely prefer a size down. This is a roomy down jacket meant to layer under.

Go a size down for roomy women's size, 2 sizes down for a more fitted look (women) - Female model is 5'8" and slim, wearing a size small, can wear a XS for a 'cuter', more fitted look (which might be preferred if used as a ski jacket in cold climates).

Fill 50% down (90% goose down, 10% feather) 50% Thermo Max (polypropolene)

We recommend spot cleaning as needed and hand washing the garment for best results.
We have also had good results with a COLD, DELICATE machine wash with gentle detergent and an air/cool dry cycle. Do not heat the garment!
Please close all zippers for washing.
