Men's Bering Down Hoody

I like this jacket. It's warm and not too bulky. It fits under a shell nicely and I like the hood. On the down side, I find the zipper being on the "wrong" side takes some getting used to. I also find that the fabric behind the zipper constantly gets caught in the zipper and I have to try multiple times to zip the jacket all the way up or have to pull the fabric out of the zipper to get it to move. It's not ideal but also not a deal breaker. I just wish the zipper worked more smoothly and didn't get caught all the time.

If you need a coat for say 0* to 50*, then this is it! A fleece layer (for when colder) or a Merino layer (for above 25*) is a perfect complement to this coat. The coat also works beautifully under a shell. I like to wear it just to get mail, groceries or walk the dog. Couldn’t be happier with the line of Beringia coats for our four-season climate.

So far, really like this jacket - lightweight, warm, fitted so it layers well - and for someone with a longer torso and arms, it's long enough and stays put when you're moving around. Elastic cuffs stay put but aren't too tight. One tip: size up. I'm usually in-between a L and an XL: I could barely zip the large. XL fits well.

This coat is great it's light and packs down small. I tested it through the rough seasons of Canada and I gotta say I'm happy. This coat is great for anything from 0°c when sitting around
and down to -15°c when active. Simply a great piece of equipement.

This coat is great for everything. Very lightweight but plenty warm when its cold. Perfect as an every day coat, but also works great for skiing and hiking. Ideal for travel and packing in a bag. Great combined with the Sibir Hoody when it's really cold.
