Beringia is Where the Waves Come From...

The Search For Volcano Island

Deep groundswells arrive from afar like signals from a sentient source. Transmitting powerful energy thousands of miles out of the northern Pacific, the waves that crash on our coastlines start their trek in the region known as Beringia. With our common roots, we are thrilled to be partnering with Ben Weiland's latest expedition to Volcano Island, a heretofore unknown surf destination in the globe's high latitudes.

The endpoint of "The Search for Volcano Island" is likely to be a nameless seamount that rises out of the Aleutian trench with a magical combination of surface exposures and bathymetric that amplify oceanic energy harmonically.

The world premiere of The Search for Volcano Island in Bozeman on July 18th at 7pm.

LOCATION: Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture

111 South Grand Avenue Bozeman, MT 59715
