What are you looking forward to most in 2025/2026?

Skiing new places, learning more and improving my craft, and producing ski project(s) that I can be proud of.

Highlight from 2025 + Why?

We attempted to ski Granite Peak this Spring and got turned around due to low snow coverage in an obscure but recommended couloir. We climb this mountain a lot in the summer and it was beautiful to see this environment in the snow and from a different access point.

What are you looking forward to most in 2025/2026?

Exploring more my backyard, the Beartooth mountains, I really want to get on “Sundance warriors” a 20- something pitch climb on granitic towers in the backcountry.

spending lot of time with my new daughter Leona

What are you looking forward to most in 2025/2026?

Although I have essentially abandoned the USA for France, I still have deep pride in certain things, especially our natural environment. For me Yosemite is the center of the traditional climbing universe and I hope all climbers get to climb there. I still have goals there, and hope to get even a short chance to try. Big goals involve little daily, weekly, and monthly goals, so all of them combined make for an all-consuming experience that, regardless of the result, is worth it.

St. Elais Bib Pants.  Incredibly comfortable and lightweight, but also tough and versatile.  Skied, snowmobiled, wore for 100 days in the elements.  Incredibly tough for how lightweight and maneuverable they are.  Great fit and cut.  I love the pocket layout.  Simply perfection.

Highlight from 2025 + Why?

Everyday skiing was a highlight!  We had a mega storm late March into the first week of April, and I was able to get out and shoot photos with Brent Benson, a legendary big air photographer here in Little Cottonwood Canyon.  Hopefully some of the frames make the cut for Powder or another ski magazine this year!

Majesty Supernova Carbon. I keep reaching for these 105mm underfoot light freetouring boards.

Fav Beringia piece and why?
St. Elias Jacket – No contest. This shell does it all—waterproof, breathable, and dialed for layering. Double napoleon pockets, an interior stash for skins or gloves, and earthy tones that blend right into the alpine. If it’s a ski day, this jacket’s coming with. The Bering Down Hoodie is a close second — light, packable, and deceptively warm. From daily life to expedition, it’s always in the kit.

Highlight from 2025?

Getting engaged! Setting courses and helping direct some ski mountaineering races at Big Sky, Kicking Horse, and on Kulshan (Mt. Baker Volcano), a first-ever family mountain skiing trip to the Sierras.

What are you most looking forward to in the 2026?
For summer: tracing skylines with a light kit and a first ski expedition to the Karakoram Range in Pakistan. For winter: long ski tours and freeride days with the crew. Making art and new memories with good company in the mountains.

Fav Beringia Item + Why?

Altai Over Hoody. Great for everything! From lapping the resort on negative degree days and staying warm on the touring descent, to walking to work or around town. Super warm, super packable, super versatile!

Highlight from 2025 + Why?

Traveling and skiing all over the West with so many great people. I was very much on the move this winter and getting to ski new places (such as Whistler, Whitefish, and Whitewater to name a new) with new and old homies is always a treat. Regarding my completion season, getting 1st at Revelstoke and getting to compete in the Challenger series with such an inspiring crew were definitely highlights.

What are you looking forward to most in 2025/2026?

This coming season I hope to travel more internationally and ski in countries such as Argentina, Chile, and Japan. I also hope to continue competing in freeride while also exploring the ski world through other avenues within the industry. Simply, I am excited for powder days with the homies!

What skis/ snowboard you ride?

Whatever ski that is stiff enough to hold on when things get western.

Fav Beringia Item + Why?

The Altai Over Hoody is a mountain athlete's best friend, I rarely find myself leaving the house without it! It fits over a shell easily when extra insulation is needed after topping out on a ridge or summit! I have also used this jacket to keep my freeride athletes warm before their comp runs! The Hawl bag is also a necessity for those who keep junk in their trunk.

Highlight from 2025 + Why?

Traveled with my athletes to different comps and watched as they grew into strong, capable, compassionate, badass, goofy little guys!

What are you looking forward to most in 2025/2026?
