[ We have washed our test blanket by hand in cold water, like a wool sweater, squeeze excess water out and lay as flat as possible to dry. ]
I was looking to change my blanket in my overland truck, it was old and made of polyester. But I wanted something warm, made of natural fibers and with the DNA of the backcountry so it can be tossed around. And to be fair, that looked good as well.
This is the one.
Made not only of wool, but Japanese Regenerated Woo, making it naturally antimicrobial, warm and let’s face it. It’s made in Japan and they know what’s up.
The size is super nice, oversized so you can really wrap yourself in it.
Just get it.
Heading into Winter I bought one of these as an extra layer for the bed. It's well sized, has nice trim detailing, and smells (odd comment I know) really nice. I think some might find it expensive for a blanket, but the quality and design are really top shelf.
