TÄSMÄ Anorak

A masterwork of uncluttered presentation, yet unconditional performance. F/W 24 Now Available.

Täsmä Anorak is a simple yet striking vetement, whose blade-like efficiency is visible in the bold slash of its asymmetrical zipper. Täsmä Anorak is preferred by ski guides from Grand Hirafu to Alyeska to Montana.

Now redesigned with our Täsmä precision-response fabric that variably adjusts to weather conditions, assuring the perfect balance of protection, breathability and comfort during activities that require unpredictable alternation between periods of high performance such as skiing and climbing (touring). Ideally suited to the Täsmä Anorak's core functionality.

Outdoor professionals praise its looser fit, stark minimalism, and lightweight, highly breathable protection. These are veterans who value the speed provided by frictionless, unadorned surfaces. Simply put, when you have a heavy dose of skills you need less equipment. And skills weigh nothing. If this is you, then TÄSMÄ Anorak is your choice.

The jacket is so light and soft you barely notice you're wearing a highly functional shell; ample room for snowboarding, hiking and the high exertion of short hikes and backcountry touring. This is the perfect piece for all season mountain wear, except for the coldest winter days in the Rockies. Enough room to layer up underneath without feeling constricted. The impressive design looks good on everyone without trying.

Nice Updates

The addition of a ski pass pocket (i.e., the left arm pocket) is key. Through and through, great piece with one major downside -- this new HAV Yellow is... kinda a gross color in real life. I miss the HAV Orange a lot. Wish they would bring it back.

Also glad to see PFAS free. Would also like to see manufacturing moved to Vietnam or Japan, but understand the constraints given that this is a technical piece.

Fantastic Product and Customer Service

The anorak performed great on the slopes. Sleek minimalistic design and water proofed PFAS free material. Functionally does what it advertises, no complaints there. Unfortunately, the hood was slightly too tight to fit over my helmet - I reached out to customer support for a return, even though it was used. I asked for it to be credited towards an exchange for the St. Elias jacket (its hood is better suited for a helmet). They were fantastic about it and took back the used anorak and credited it towards the jacket. Overall, great product and great customer support!

You guys nailed it.. Fit and Color rock

This is the best style and swankiest fit of any jacket on the mountain. Not to mention how soft it feels for a technical fabric.
I just bought the HAV Yellow and I think its the best color I have seen this year - great job Beringia!

One bad ass piece

When I first got this piece I just thought it would be like any old shell... boy was I wrong. This thing is legit. I use it for ski touring in the winter and hiking/cycling in the summer. It manages to keep all the elements (wind/snow/rain) out while keeping you able to breath at the same time. I didn't realize the benefits of an asymmetrical zipper until now. It gets out of the way when doing an activity and the massive chest pocket it makes room for is great for keeping track of any items you may want on person. It is also extremely stylish and something different that stands out in the bloated world of high performance gear. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants a shell that is the only thing you need to bring on any outdoor adventure. Plus when paired with a solid mid-layer it is amazing for skiing and allows for total unrestricted range of movement. I got mine in seafoam green and absolutely love it, highly, highly recommend.
