Farallon Insulated Shirt

The FW/25 Insulated Farallon is a limited-production piece crafted by the 'Masters of Bishu' in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is made from the same regenerated wool woven fabric as the 'Original Farallon' shirt, employing traditional methods passed down by the skilled textile craftspeople of the Bishu wool region.

The shirt features a quilted lining, an inside phone pocket, brushed snaps, and the coveted Bishu label of authenticity. The thistle-brushed wool is noticeably softer than any other wool shirt on the market. Add it to your cool-weather quiver.

Size: XXS-XXL

Weight: 750g / 1lb 10oz for a size medium.

Fit: Relaxed, over shirt fit. This is a bit looser and more boxy than the slim fitting Farallon Shirt. Consider this more of a jacket style. Men's Sizing is true to size, over shirt fit. XS can be considered women's S/M.

Historic region in Aichi Prefecture where wool has been crafted into luxury fabrics for over three hundred years.

Bishu, Japan

The confluence of three rivers in Bishu provides the necessary water and clean hydro-energy to wash raw wool fiber and power the textile mills that produce the finest natural fabrics for the Japanese domestic market (JDM).

Known for their extraordinary level of quality and attention to detail, these fabrics have been mostly inaccessible to the outside world. In a first, Beringia has collaborated with specialty spinners, knitters and finishers to apply their expertise to designing Beringia’s own performance-oriented fabrics built for (y)our outdoor adventures.
