Has simplified my Short selection

I was recommended to try these from a friend who is a brand fan, I thought they were a little pricey, but I would give them a try anyway. The fit is perfect for my sport/training routine a mix of trail running, gym, B-ball, and golf. I love the stretch and length, I m not into the short/short look these days. Jumped in a lake last week in upstate-NY and the short was dry in 15 mins. I think this short really does it all, I will try to go all summer with only these shorts for travel and sport and simplify my options. Thanks Beringia for bringing simplicity to a daily functional piece.

Pricey / Needs more features & Bigger Sizes

Hi, 6'3" 220lbs, purchased the XL. Would've preferred one size up. Also, for the price, these seem fairly basic. Several other companies doing similar shorts $30+ cheaper. The stretch and style are nice but the pockets don't feel secure. Didn't keep them.

Awesome everyday short

These shorts are awesome. I loved so much that I bought a second pair as soon as my first one arrived. The bronze is a unique color, which is getting lots of compliments. I would buy more if there were more colors available...hopefully you come out with some soon?

A lot for a lot of short

I just bought half a dozen shorts for my teenage son, who is hard to match with clothing, performance or otherwise. He has an athletic build, and a lot of bum to boot. He in particular does not like shorts, but does need them, because who doesn't. Whether fencing, climbing, lounging, he needs to have some. I sourced a range of best in class shorts from Rab, BlackDiamond, Prana, Patagonia and others. He likes these best. I concur - I got myself a pair and they are my go-to for a pull-on and go short, where no liner is needed. I'm getting another pair, and agree, more colors would be nice, but that's not my axe to grind. They are a lot in terms of cost, but give a lot in performance. Fast drying, long wearing, generally a great and light item.

Nice technical features and great look

I really like the softness but durable feel to the fabric. I wore cotton shorts before, I now see the advantages of engineered fabrics. I m a classic Medium fit and they fit just right. I bought the Bronze but would like to see more colors next time for fun. I will test them on a multi-day PCT hike as my only shorts.
