Extremely lofty, the OCTA Anorak floats lightly above your skin. Wear this piece year-round.

Essential gear for most any outdoor activity

I'll keep this short since so many have already given this jacket a great review. It is NICE. After visiting the store in Bozeman from out of the state in September, I got to see firsthand the quality of the gear. I picked up a few items that weekend, and loved them so much, I've bought some other gear including this jacket since then thru the webstore. The size SM is a good fit for me at 5'-9" and 150Lbs, I can wear a tshirt and base layer underneath and it's still not overly tight.

The go anywhere do anything layer

The perfect soft shell light insulation for high output activities. Insulation only where it matters, minimalist design to keep it simple. Perfect for moving fast in the alpine.

All Season Jacket; Wide Temp Range

Never thought I'd be into the pullover, but between the Tsurugi and Octa I'm sold! Lightweight and functional, this jacket has a wide temperature range thanks to it's select insulation and fabric choice. The long diagonal zipper looks cool, but it also creates a wide opening making the pullover easier than a center zip. I packed this on every alpine trip so far this summer and see it being even better as a cool weather rock climbing layer or ski touring jacket for high output/cold days.

The ALMOST perfect lightweight jacket

Overall, this jacket is awesome! Very versatile, extremely packable with just a fair amount of light insulation while still breathable, has some stretch, and is comfortable with a nice "standard" fit. Looks pretty cool and unique too. Haven't been able to assess the water repellency and durability yet. What would make this jacket PERFECT would be if it had a kangaroo pocket/two zippered-hand pockets and a stowable hood/way to secure it (since it's so light any amount of wind makes it flap around and can be a bit bothersome).

One of my favorite jackets I’ve had

Perfect lightweight summer layer for any sort of adventure. Love the fleece lined parts where you need it to add a little warmth and not where you don’t like on the back to make it sweaty carrying a pack.
